چکیده
Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) is a research hotspot in the solar fuel production and photo-degradation of pollutants field due to high surface area, rich metal/organic species, large pore volume, adjustability structures compositions. Therefore, this review, we first summarized design factors photocatalytic materials based on MOF from perspective “star” MOF. The modification strategies MOFs-based photocatalysts were discussed improve its activity specific applications as well, including CO 2 reduction, water splitting pollutants. Finally, advantages disadvantages discussed, current challenges highlighted, suggestions for future directions proposed. are their application progress reducing , decomposing degrading summarized.

متن کاملPorosity tuning of carborane-based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) via coordination chemistry and ligand design
Two new metal–organic framework (MOF) materials based on boron-rich cluster struts (p-carborane) are reported herein. Cu(I) catalyzed coupling chemistry was used to synthesize carboxylate-based ligands, which are substantially longer than the previously studied dicarboxylated p-carborane, leading to structures with greater porosity. Solvothermal syntheses involving these ligands and Zn salts we...

Photocatalysts based on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are very promising due to a combination of high tuneability and convenient porous structure. Introducing porphyrin units within MOFs is a potential route to engineer these natural photosynthesis molecular catalysts into artificial photosynthesis heterogeneous catalysts. Using computer simulations based on density functional theory, we expl...
متن کاملCrystalline metal-organic frameworks (MOFs): synthesis, structure and function.
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of hybrid network supramolecular solid materials comprised of organized organic linkers and metal cations. They can display enormously high surface areas with tunable pore size and functionality, and can be used as hosts for a range of guest molecules. Since their discovery, MOFs have experienced widespread exploration for their applications in gas st...
